Jennie (Tae Rim) Kim

ECoVets Veterinary Specialists and Emergency is thrilled to welcome Dr. Jennie (Tae Rim) Kim, to our team as our new Veterinary Neurologist! Dr. Kim brings an impressive depth of training and hands-on experience, having recently completed a rigorous neurology and neurosurgery residency at the University of Florida, where she led complex neurosurgical cases, including craniotomies and vertebral stabilization procedures. Her expertise spans advanced diagnostic procedures such as electrodiagnostics and spinal taps, and she has contributed to research on brain biopsy cytology.

Prior to her residency, Dr. Kim honed her skills through a small animal rotating internship in New York City and then completed a neurology specialty internship at the Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital, where she decided that she wanted to specialize in neurology. She then spent another year learning about complex neurological cases at the Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey before moving to Florida for her residency. Her commitment to patient care, client communication, and teaching has been consistently recognized throughout her training. We are excited to have her join our mission of providing compassionate, cutting-edge care to our community.
