In House Referrals
The Radiology Department will offer diagnostic imaging (CT, digital Radiography, contrast studies, Ultrasound, Echocardiogram, Fluoroscopy for in-house patients and for the in-house specialty services.
Teleradiology
Teleradiology offered by a board-certified veterinary Radiologist will be available for referring clinics for radiographs, contrast studies, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging studies.
Outpatient Imaging
The Radiology Department will offer outpatient imaging (CT, Fluoroscopy, contrast studies, Ultrasound, Echocardiogram, Fluoroscopy) for referred patients from your primary care veterinarian. The ordered imaging study will be obtained, and a written report will be provided. The patient will be referred back to your primary care veterinarian for further management and treatment unless your primary veterinarian recommends further management by a specialist.

Contrast Studies
As an advanced imaging technique used to enhance the visibility of specific organs, tissues, and systems. Types of Contrast Procedures:
- Gastrointestinal (GI) Contrast Studies: GI contrast studies involve administering a contrast agent orally or via an enema to highlight the gastrointestinal tract.
- Urinary System Contrast Studies: Contrast studies of the urinary system involve the administration of a contrast agent intravenously or directly into the urinary bladder to visualize the kidneys, ureters, and bladder.
- Intravenous Pyelogram
- Cystography
- Urethrography
- Angiography: vascular contrast studies involve injecting a contrast agent into the blood vessels to highlight the vascular system.
- Myelography: spinal contrast studies (myelography) involve injecting a contrast agent into the spinal canal to highlight the spinal cord and surrounding structures to identify spinal cord compression, herniated discs or tumors.
